Artist's Comments

You stand still for a limited period of time and everything that means life passes by you and remains printed in your mind forming an image of speed and dinamics that shows us what our suroundings in a way we never imagened, an image of light and statics, the image of time.

This is the first photo of a 360 panorma on wich i am still working, it is dificult for me to blend the images becose of the car light trails that are diffrent in each photo, but i hope i will manage it. (any tips welcomed)

You know what? I've seen a panorama of a long exposure quite similar to this one at a gallery in Chicago. I asked him if he done any post editing on PS or such... but he said, I only shoot film :) and he gave me that look like digital was the fucking worst thing that happened since 9/11. So when I asked the photographer how he managed to capture all the exposure and motion blur impecable and intact, he answered... I had 3 cams all on the same settings sitting one next to eachother. pretty neat ... but who the hell has 3 cams :(

i have 4 B-) but the 4 pictures will come out totaly diffrent and i will have no chance to blend them. and it is imposible to center them in the same place, so the panorama will hae to be a little diform, athanks for the "tip" :P but i on't think i will do that any time now ;P

so what do you think of this photo?

i like it, it's got a lot of detail for an 8s exposure... you can even see how shitty the lights have become on the inter... not all of em are working :D. Did you take it on the crosswalk? or just in the middle of the street? :O
